The Transformative Partnership Project aims to foster inclusive and equitable climate change adaptation by empowering civil society organizations (CSOs) and agricultural officers at regional, zonal, and woreda levels. By building their capacity to implement climate justice and food sovereignty policies, the project ensures that local stakeholders are at the forefront of sustainable development.

The project will also mobilize and transform the livelihoods of 3,060 rural households, including 1,420 women and youth, through innovative interventions such as agroforestry, improved animal husbandry, and rural entrepreneurship.

These initiatives will be carried out in close partnership with local government authorities across six villages in Meskan Woreda and Mareko Special Woreda of the East Gurage Zone, Central Ethiopia, ensuring solutions that are locally grounded, sustainable, and inclusive.
