The Kick-Off Meeting of the Transformative Partnership Project was successfully conducted in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, from March 2–6, 2026. The Transformative Partnership Project is a three-year project funded by SIDA through The Hunger Project Sweden.
The event brought together teams from The Hunger Project Sweden, Burkina Faso, and Ethiopia to strengthen collaboration, build shared understanding, and reaffirm their commitment to the successful implementation of the project.
During the meeting, participants discussed key issues including project financial management, expected outcomes and outputs, and partnership arrangements, culminating in the signing of a MoU among the partners.
As part of the program, the team also conducted a two-day field visit to the Central Ethiopia Region, where they observed community-level activities implemented by The Hunger Project Ethiopia and engaged with local initiatives contributing to sustainable development.
The meeting served as an important platform to align strategies, strengthen partnerships, and advance the shared vision of creating resilient and hunger-free communities.
